Singham Returns Censor Note - Controversial Scenes/Dialogues Cut

Some Hindu organisations raised objections regarding certain scenes in 'Singham Returns' after the theatrical trailer was released. Small scale protests happpened in north and they also sent complaints to Censor Board of India to delete scenes which they though would hurt sentiments of people. Whether influenced by this or not, CBFC, India ordered some cuts/mutes in the film before certifying it. The censor notes are as follows

1. Deleted the word 'Vishwadham'. (Replaced with approved word "Vikasdham"

1. Changed Flag with approved colours.

1. Deleted the word 'Pravachan'. (Replaced with approved word "Vikasdham"

1. Deleted Ajay Devgan saluting dargah.

1. Toned down the dargah scene.

1. Deleted the visual of cops praying in dargah.

1. Deleted the word "Do kaudi" (Replaced with word "Faltu"

After making these changes the film was passed by censor board with 'U/A' certificate [Unrestricted Public Exhibition - but with a word of caution that Parental discretion required for children below 12 years

 ] The run length of Singham Returns is 2 hours 22 mins. Film will hit the screens worldwide on August 15th as Independence Day release.

Salman Khan's KICK - Indian & British Censor notes - Exclusive

Salman Khan's upcoming EID flick 'KICK' was censored by CBFC, India last week. The film was granted a 'U/A' (Unrestricted Public Exhibition-But With Parental Guidance) certificate with one cut. According to censor report 'A Massage scene' has been chopped off from the film. The film'ss certified length is is 2 hours 26 mins 34 secs. 

The British censors BBFC censored the film yesterday and granted the film '12 A' certificate, means Cinema release suitable for 12 years and over. Censor report says film has moderate violence & gore. The Approved Running time is 146m 33s. The reporter furhter states the following

There are scenes of moderate violence, including multiple punches, kicks and blows with the impact of each blow heightened by the loud sound effects. There are gun shootings which result in small blood spurts, a head-butt, and a scene in which punches result in rib cage bones being broken, depicted in an x-ray style. There is some gory injury when a man and a woman fall to the ground from a suicidal jump and they are seen lying with blood around their heads. There are Hindi and English uses of mild bad language (e.g. 'saala', 'bloody', 'damn', 'shit').

Ragini MMS 2 is an upcoming Bollywood horror-thriller 3D film directed by Bhushan Patel and co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures and ALT Entertainment, It is the sequel to the 2011 found footage horror hit Ragini MMS. Film stars adult movie star Sunny Leone in the lead role.

Threat
    There are some scenes of supernatural horror, including sight of characters whose eyes have been gouged out, sight of dead girls, a woman stabbing herself in the throat, and an exorcism.

    There is sight of a man apparently masturbating, underneath bedding, as he watches a porn film. There is also sight of a woman licking a man's bare torso and riding on top of him in a sexual manner. There is a scene in which a woman fakes an orgasm on a film set.

Language

    There are nine uses of strong language ('f**k') as well as various uses of milder bad language (eg 'bloody', 'saala', 'bitch', 'bullshit').

A scene of moderate violence features when the main character threatens a local villain's son by holding a razor close to his throat. He lets the man go and is then beaten by local men. This includes blows with sticks and punches as the hero is kicked to the ground. There is no sight of blood or injury in this brief scene.

There is also a scene in which there is a partial, mouthed use of strong language in one fleeting moment where the main character looks at a bridge and his lips form the word, 'bh** ch**'. The film also contains Hindi and English uses of mild bad language, including, 'saala', 'haramkhor', ' shit' and 'ass', as well as some mild sex references.
