Two Air India pilots were suspended thanks to actress Nithya Menon. The pilots allowed the actress to enter the cockpit and travel with the them sitting in the 'Observer seat'. Chief pilot Jagmohan Reddy and co-pilot Kiran were suspended after internal investigation based on a complaint filed by a DRDO Scientist last month. Nithya was traveling from Bangalore to Hyderabad.
It is a punishable offense & great security lapse, especially after 9/11, for allowing people other than pilots, cabin crew or flight technicians to enter the cockpit, especially during the 'journey'.
